Oceans Eleven Big Band is an 11-piece band playing diverse and extensive arrangements by Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Glen Miller, Buddy Rich, Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, Arturo Sandoval, Tito Puente and Hugh Masakela.

The band also features vocalists John Rinell and Katt Hefner.  Their repertoire includes the music of: Sinatra, Buble, Natalie Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Quincy Jones, Pharrell Williams, Brian Setzer, Prince, The Blues Brothers, Tina Turner, Motown and many other current artists.

The band was originally formed in 2012 by John Dancer, a saxophonist and arranger from New York for Mel Torme.  Sadly, John had Parkinson’s disease and asked drummer Bryant Post to take over the band.  The band has changed over the years and now includes players from the Glen Miller Orchestra, Airmen of Note, The Peter Duchin Orchestra, Sarasota Orchestra, Ringling Brothers and many others.  It maintains the great swing and infectious rhythms of an exciting and super-groovin’ Big Band!
