Fort Myers Cinco de Mayo Festival

If relaxing, having fun, enjoying good food and listening to great live music over the weekend ’The Plan'-- we have exactly what you need at the Premiere of the Fort Myers Cinco de Mayo Festival in the River District of downtown Fort Myers, FL. Dates of the festivities are April 29-May 1, 2022.

The fun and relaxation begin Friday evening 4pm-10pm and continues Saturday 11am-10pm and Sunday 11am-6pm. Admission is FREE! The event is produced by Paragon Festivals and hosted by the River District Alliance. 

Choose your foods from a diverse menu of traditional Mexican dishes all cooked fresh on site by local restaurants and food purveyors. Select from a diversity of side dishes and of course - awesome desserts! Liquid refreshment includes selections of alcoholic, non-alcoholic and fruit drinks along with sodas and bottled water.

While enjoying your meal, sit back and relax to musical entertainment consisting of live on stage performances by creative and talented musicians from both the local and regional circuit. Please check back in 2022 as the event nears to confirm performers and performance times, the Performance Schedule being posted in the column to the right.

During breaks between performances, enjoy time shopping a marketplace of fine arts, crafts, and select fine products and food items.

FROM Hwy 41 Southbound

  • Proceed south across the Caloosahatchee Bridge
  • Take the first exit for First Street
  • Proceed east on First Street approximately 4 blocks to Hendry Street
  • Turn left and proceed north on Hendry Street to the show site

FROM Southbound N. Tamiami Trail

  • Go south across the Edison Bridge
  • Proceed south to First Street
  • Turn right on First Street
  • Proceed to Hendry Street
  • Turn right on Hendry Street and proceed north to the show site

FROM Southbound I-75

  • Go south across the Caloosahatchee River
  • Take the first exit (Hwy 80 aka: Palm Beach Blvd.)
  • Go right and merge onto Hwy 80 and proceed southwest to downtown Fort Myers
  • Hwy 80 (aka: Palm Beach Blvd) becomes First Street
  • Proceed to Hendry Street
  • Turn right on Hendry Street and proceed north to the show site
