Want relaxing fun and good food for the weekend? Delve into delicious freshly-made foods, spectacular live musical performances by top Florida musicians and shopping a marketplace of arts, crafts and select fine products at the 2nd Annual Englewood Seafood & Music Festival in Pioneer Park, Englewood on January 24-26, 2020Partake of a weekend of pure enjoyment and relaxation! The fun starts Friday evening 4pm-10pm and continues Saturday 11am-10pm and Sunday 11am-6pm. Admission is FREE! The event is produced by Paragon Festivals.


For food, choose from a variety of seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes all cooked fresh on site by local restaurants and food purveyors. Seafood dishes are prepared using only the freshest local and sustainable ocean resources from the Florida Gulf Coast. Select from a diversity of side dishes and of course - awesome desserts! Liquid refreshment includes alcoholic, non-alcoholic and fruit drinks.


While immersed in food, listen to some of Florida’s top musical groups from genres such as R&B, blues, jazz, rock and Caribbean sounds. Performers in 2019 were: Mike Tozier (country, folk, Delta blues), Sarasota Steel Pan Band (calypso, reggae, Latin, Brazilian), the Kate Keys Band (blues, rock, variety), Kettle of Fish (rock), CeCe Teneal & Soul Kamotion (blues, soul, roots), Reverend Barry & The Funk (funk, soul), the Billy Rice Band (country rock), the Bob Marley Tribute Band featuring Yvad (reggae), The New Rulers (ska, reggae, soul, rocksteady), The Whole Band featuring Callie Chappell (Americana, rock, bluegrass and R&B), Twinkle & Rock Soul Radio (rock, soul), and the Caribbean Chillers (Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band). Check back here as the event approaches for the musicians that will be part of the 2020 event.


During breaks between performances, enjoy shopping a marketplace of fine arts, crafts, and select fine products and food items.

Driving Directions

From Venice via Hwy 776 (Englewood Road)

  • From South Tamiami Trail (Hwy 41) in Venice, take Hwy 776 (Englewood Road) southbound
  • Proceed about 7 miles to Dearborn Street
  • Turn right onto West Dearborn Street
  • Proceed about 0.5 miles west
  • Pioneer Park is on the left

From Port Charlotte Town Center

  • Proceed westbound on Hwy 776 about 18 miles to downtown Englewood and Dearborn Street
  • Turn left onto West Dearborn Street
  • Proceed about 0.5 miles west
  • Pioneer Park is on the left

Coming Southbound on I-75 from Sarasota and points North

  • Proceed southbound to Exit 191 (Hwy 777 - North River Road)
  • Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Hwy 777 (North River Road)
  • Proceed about 7 miles south
  • As North River Road crosses Hwy 41 (Tamiami Trail) it becomes South River Road
  • Continue on South River Road about 8.0 to the east side of Englewood and Pine Street
  • At this point Hwy 777 (South River Road) becomes Dearborn Street
  • Proceed west on Dearborn Street about 1.3 miles
  • Pioneer Park will be on the left
